*1 Scoop = 5 g. Mix 1 scoop with 35 mL of water (yields approx. 39 mL of formula). This is a general guide only: your baby may need more or less than indicated. Consult your healthcare professional if you require more advice on adjusting the volumes stated.

STORAGE

Do not use if scoop or powder security seals are damaged or missing. Store in a cool dry place and keep container airtight after opening. After opening, use contents within four weeks. Fill is by weight, not volume. Some settling of the powder may occur.

Preparation

STEP ONE - Wash hands before preparing the feed. Sterilise all utensils by boiling in water or using an approved steriliser.
STEP TWO - Boil drinking water and allow to cool until lukewarm. Measure the required amount of lukewarm water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
STEP THREE - Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly and level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.
STEP FOUR - Add one level scoop of powder for each 35 mL of water. Cap the bottle and shake briskly to dissolve the powder.
STEP FIVE - Test temperature on wrist and feed immediately. Discard unfinished feeds.
STEP SIX - After feeding, thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring.

WHAT IS THE ADVANCED SYNBIOTIC?

Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS Infant Formula is blended with a synbiotic blend of 2'-FL HMO, a nature inspired prebiotic, and cultures of B. Infantis M63, a probiotic naturally found in the digestive system of breast-fed infants.

CAN THIS PRODUCT BE TAKEN WITH OTHER BIOSTIME PRODUCTS?

This product can be taken with Biostime Infant Probiotics with Vitamin D, or Biostime Immune Defence + Lactoferrin. Consult with your healthcare practitioner to check your child's requirements before consumption.

WHY CAN I NOT USE HOT WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT?

Hot water should not be used with products containing probiotics, including this product. To avoid destroying the good bacteria, please use cooled boiled water that has cooled to 40°C or less. When using any product, always prepare following the instructions on the packaging or as advised by a qualified healthcare professional, as improper preparation can affect your child’s health.

Biostime Stage 1 HPO infant formula is specifically designed for infants aged from birth to 6 months. Stage 1 refers to that age group. You’ll also find Stage 2 infant formula for infants aged 6–12 months, and toddler milk drink Stage 3 suitable for children aged 12–36 months.
