What is the advanced synbiotic?

Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink is blended with an advanced synbiotic blend of the prebiotics FOS/GOS and B. infantis, a probiotic naturally found in the digestive tract of breast fed infants.

Why can I not use hot water with this product?

Hot water should not be used with products containing probiotics, including this product. To avoid destroying the good bacteria, please use cooled boiled water, that has cooled to 40º C or less in temperature. When using any product always prepare following the instructions on the packaging or as advised by a qualified healthcare professional as unnecessary or improper use can affect the health of your child.

Why is 2'-FL HMO not included in your Stage 3 product?

2'-FL HMO is only permitted for use by FSANZ (Food Standards Australia New Zealand) in infant formulas Stage 1 and Stage 2. The oligosaccharides in Biostime SN-2 BIO PLUS HPO Toddler Milk Drink instead include FOS and GOS. Our Biostime 2'-FL HMO ProBoost + Vit D supplement contains 2'-FL HMO and can be taken with our Toddler Milk Drink products. We recommending checking with your health care professional for advice on your child's requirements.

Can this product be taken with other Biostime products?

This product can be taken with Biostime 2’-FL HMO ProBoost + Vitamin D, Biostime Infant Probiotics with Vitamin D, or Biostime Immune Defence + Lactoferrin. Consult with your health care practitioner to check your child's requirements before consumption.

Preparation

Step One

Wash and dry hands before preparing feed. Wash and rinse cup and all utensils.
Step Two

Using only the scoop provided in this container, add 6 scoops of powder to 180 mL of cool boiled water. Level off each scoop with the container's built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.
Step Three

Whisk, shake or stir the powder briskly until powder dissolves. Serve immediately.

Prepare each cup separately. If a serving of made up drink is to be stored prior to use, it must be refrigerated and used within 24 hours.

Storage

Do not use if scoop or powder security seals are damaged or missing. Store in a cool dry place and keep container airtight after opening. After opening, use contents within four weeks. Fill is by weight, not volume. Some settling of the powder may occur.
