Important notice: Breast milk is best for babies. Before you decide to use this product, consult your doctor or health worker for advice.
Why is breastfeeding best? Breast milk truly is the best choice for providing all the essential nutrients, hydration and protective factors a child needs to grow and thrive. It also has benefits for mum, including convenience, strengthening the bond with a child and potentially helping with post-partum weight loss.
Warning: Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not change proportions of powder except on medical advice. Incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill.
Preparation
STEP ONE - Wash hands before preparing the feed. Sterilise all utensils by boiling in water or using an approved steriliser.
STEP TWO - Boil drinking water and allow to cool until lukewarm. Measure the required amount of lukewarm water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
STEP THREE - Use only the enclosed scoop. Fill the scoop lightly and level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.
STEP FOUR - Add one level scoop of powder for each 35 mL of water. Cap the bottle and shake briskly to dissolve the powder.
STEP FIVE - Test temperature on wrist and feed immediately. Discard unfinished feeds.
STEP SIX - After feeding, thoroughly clean the bottle, teat and ring.
